Acrobat X (10) not seen by LI

Please always update v5.x to this version.

I am experiencing a weird problem: LogInventory is not seeing the installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader X (10) on most of my computers. In Packages, there is an instance of Reader 10 and lists one computer that has it installed- however I know there are several other machines on our network that have Reader 10 installed. These machines have been scanned several times since upgrading to Reader 10. Those specific machines are also not showing any version of Adobe Reader installed according to LogInventory.

I have not had any problem like this in the past, so any help you can offer is appreciated.

We are running LogInventory version 5.5.0.0-4979-RELEASED

1st Step: Update to the most current LOGINventory version.

There are currently no known issues in detecting Reader X.

- Is Adobe Acrobat Reader X installed by Adobe's setup/msi - or has it been re-packaged before deployment?
- Can it be seen in the Control Panel / Add remove Software?
- Control the scan-timestamps of the PCs where you expect Reader X.
